Prince Charles says he's 'thrilled' for Kate, William
LONDON (WHDH) -- Royal mom to be, Kate Middleton went home after spending nearly 4 days in the hospital.
She suffered from a severe case of morning sickness.
The Duchess of Cambridge was escorted Thursday by her husband, Prince William.
She looked a little tired, but managed a smile with her bouquet of yellow roses.
In the meantime, her father-in law, Princes Charles, made his first comments about becoming a grandfather.
"I'm thrilled, marvelous, very nice thought of grandfatherhood in my old age, if I may say so. So, that's splendid. And I'm very glad my daughter-in-law is getting better. Thank goodness!"
Kate will now spend the next few days resting up at Kensington Palace.
