'Game of Thrones' stars in the Hub for premiere
BOSTON (WHDH) -- The actors and actresses from the HBO series “Game of Thrones” were on hand for the third season premiere in Boston Thursday night.
Fans of the hit series "Game of Thrones" also came out to see a seek peak of the third season before anyone else.
"I just watched all two seasons just straight up like in a row and we were on Facebook the other day and saw the link and we're so excited then saw they were sold out in five minutes. So we felt like VIPs, it’s really cool," one fan said.
One of the show's youngest stars was even in town for the premiere. Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, says she has a lot in common with her tomboy character.
"I'm a big tree climber and I feel the physical side of Arya, I can relate to well. But yeah she's great fun, we kind of grown up together and it’s weird, I feel like I'm part of the show I'm not just playing a character on it," Williams said.
With two seasons under its belt, "Game of Thrones" already has a lot to live up to keep fans happy.
But Williams say this latest chapter in the saga will not disappoint.
"I think the fantasy element maybe comes in a bit more this year and I'm excited to see how people react to that," she said.
The third season premieres on HBO Sunday night at 9 p.m.
