Local woman shines on NBC's 'The Voice'

UNDATED (WHDH) -- One Massachusetts woman is showing off her voice.
Michelle Brooks-Thompson shined Monday night in her audition for NBC’s “The Voice.”
Brooks-Thompson wowed the judges with her rendition of “Proud Mary.”
All of the judges except Blake Shelton turned their chairs. In the end, Brooks-Thompson chose Adam Levine to be her coach.
Brooks-Thompson studied vocal performance and piano at Mt. Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass.
Watch “The Voice” on 7NBC at 8 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays.
