UNDATED (WHDH) -- NBC’s “The Voice” semi-finals are Monday and it’s down to the final four contestants.
Nicholas, Cassadee, Terry and Trevin are all vying for the grand prize.
For a rocker from Aberdeen, Scotland, the journey on an American television show has exceeded his expectations.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed myself and much more than I expected I would, frankly,” said Terry McDermott, Team Blake.
At 35, Terry is the oldest of the final contestants.
Trevin Hunte is the youngest. At 18 years old, he has impressed the coaches with talent far beyond his years.
“I feel like my wheelhouse is power strong ballads and I feel like, with those songs, I can leave it all on the stage and give my best,” said Trevin Hunte, Team Ceelo.
Retro sounds are in Nicholas David’s wheelhouse -- from 70’s soul to last week’s interpretation of a timeless classic.
“I lead with my heart. I think from my heart and I play and sing from my heart and I give my heart. So I think people are thirsty for that,” said Nicolas David, Team Ceelo.
Fans have also taken to Cassadee Pope. She’s blended the worlds of pop, rock and country music.
“It’s so gratifying and it just makes all the sleepless nights and the time and effort put into this worth it,” said Cassadee, Team Blake.
For two of the singers, Monday’s effort will mean a spot in the finals.
