Cowell disappointed by Spears' X-Factor performance

UNDATED (WHDH) -- Britney Spears was reported to be getting the ax from the X-Factor - because she's too boring.

According to US Weekly, creator Simon Cowell said he was disappointed with the pop star's performance on the show this season and he didn't think she lived-up to her $15million contract.

Fellow judge, L.A. Reid, already announced his departure for next season.
