Entwistle's parents believe son innocent, blame wife for killings

WOBURN, Mass. -- The parents of Neil Entwistle say their son is innocent and they are devastated by the guilty verdict delivered by a Middlesex Superior Court jury.
Speaking outside the courthouse, Entwistle's mother, Yvonne, said the evidence in the case pointed to her daughter-in-law, Rachel, "murdering our grandchild and then committing suicide."
Yvonne Entwistle said she knew Rachel was depressed, and believes her son is going to jail for "loving , honoring and protecting his wife's memory."
Cliff Entwistle said the couple will continue to fight for their son's innocence.
All first-degree murder convictions in Massachusetts are subject to automatic appeal.
