BOSTON -- From Boston Harborfest: America's rich colonial and maritime history will come alive for visitors during our 30^th annual celebration from Wednesday, June 29^th through Monday, July 4^th 2011.

Over 200 events during these six days will provide entertainment throughout the festival. The schedule includes historical reenactments, walking tours, sunset harbor cruises, and free noontime concerts throughout the week on City Hall Plaza. Among the highlights of the entertainment is the annual Party on the Plaza on Saturday July 2nd from 6pm-9pm.

On Thursday, June 30th, children of all ages are invited to the fun and activity-filled Children's Day for musical sing-along, face painting, balloon animals, and more.

Visitors to the 30^th Annual Chowderfest will vote for "Boston's Best Chowder" after sampling traditional New England style clam chowder from top Boston area restaurants on Sunday, July 3.
