Bruin is an adorable and spirited 5-month-old Chihuahua mix who loves other dogs but is fearful of small kids (he’s just a peanut himself, of course!).

Bruin proves that purebred dogs are just as readily found in shelters as they are available for sale -- and staffers at the MSPCA-Angell adoption center in Jamaica Plain are hoping readers will come meet this super cute pup.

Bruin is in terrific health and is neutered.  He’s also receiving lots of basic obedience and house training and he’ll make a wonderful pet for the right individual or family. Because he’s so small and still so young, a few short walks per day and lots of play time is all he’ll need to stay healthy.
