MSPCA-Angell's Pet of the Week: Margaret the Cat
Margaret the cat has been at the MSPCA-Angell in Jamaica Plain, Mass. since October of 2012 -- a long time for such a beautiful, young and affectionate cat! Margaret was found as a stray while nursing four kittens. She was rescued by a good Samaritan just before the cold winter weather set in. Her kittens have all gone to new homes and now staffers are hoping to find the perfect home for Margaret.
She is very scared of the other animals in the adoption center. Because of this, Margaret has been moved to an office upstairs at the MSPCA where she can hide and show herself to her human office mate on her own time. Despite her shyness, she is very affectionate when she warms up to her person. She’s vocal and will let you know when she’s looking for treats or a chin scratch. The MSPCA hopes to find a patient and loving owner -- who has either adult kids or none at all, and no other pets -- so that Margaret can slowly settle in at her own pace and grow into the lovely cat we know she is!
Margaret is four years young, spayed, up to date on all of her vaccinations and in terrific health.
