MSPCA-Nevins Farm Pet of the Week: 3 Homeless Cats
Three affectionate and social tuxedo cats are available for adoption at the MSPCA-Nevins Farm in Methuen, Mass.
The cats -- who were surrendered together by an owner who could no longer care for them -- can adopted together or separately. Shelter staffers report that they are all incredibly friendly and love to play. The ideal home would be one in which all three could stay together. But they are confident enough to be separated if needed!
Vasayda is a fun loving 8-year-old female who gets along with everyone -- human or animal. She loves to give head butts and to be cuddled. She is the most outgoing of the three and, because she’s slightly overweight, would benefit from more exercise and perhaps a few less treats! She is good natured and loves children. She is an excellent family pet. Vasayda is spayed, up to date on all of her shots and microchipped.
Jacoby is also eight years old and loves to be petted and held. He is quite playful and outgoing and would also make a perfect family pet. Jacoby would do fine in a home with another mellow cat and with older children. Staffers believe he would also likely do fine with an older, calm dog. He is in good health, neutered and immunized. Now all he needs is a home!
Mr. Kitty is the oldest of the trio at 12 years young. He is also the shyer of the three, but a gentle head scratch combined with a soft voice is the fastest way to ensure he’ll be your friend for life. Staffers are hopeful that Mr. Kitty will find a loving home in which to live out the rest of his life. He is in fine health and also neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots.
