Gengel family to open orphanage in Haiti

BOSTON -- The family of Britney Gengel is heading to Haiti where they plan to honor their daughter.

The Gengels left Tuesday on what they're calling the "Be Like Brit" road trip.

They're driving to Miami before flying to Haiti.

They'll be taking tools and supplies to build an orphanage in Haiti in their daughter's name.

Britney Gengel died in the killer earthquake that hit Haiti in January.

In her final text message, she wrote that she wanted to open an orphanage in Haiti.
