Fall River pool death investigation continues

FALL RIVER, Mass. -- Officials in Fall River are continuing their investigation into a mysterious death at a public pool.

A woman's dead body went unnoticed in the Veteran's Memorial Pool for days.

Over the weekend, officials began draining that pool.

Investigators say draining the pool will give them a better look at the facility.

36-year old Marie Joseph died in that pool.

Her death has been ruled an accident.

Six lifeguards were on duty that day, but none of them reported anyone missing.

Joseph’s body was under the murky waters for two days.
