Peabody mulch fire causes ramp closures

PEABODY, Mass. -- A mulch fire near Route 1 in Peabody closed roads on Monday afternoon.

State police closed ramps connecting Route 1 to 95 and 128 in both directions due to thick smoke and limited visibility and problems for drivers. The ramps reopened before 4 p.m. Monday.
