Bailey is a 5-year-old female Beagle who was brought to the MSPCA’s Cape Cod Adoption Center in Centerville, Mass. because the other dogs in her home did not get along with her.
Despite that sad situation MSPCA staffers (and Bailey herself) are quite hopeful that she will find a new owner to gush over her friendly, outgoing and affectionate personality. Bailey is perfectly housebroken and loves to be a “lap dog” and give kisses. The MSPCA feels she will do best in a quiet home with older children or very calm pets.
Bailey has experienced a few bumps in the road with respect to her health. She’s being treated for urinary tract and ear infections (both curable) and hypothyroid condition, which has caused her to become overweight. She has also tested positive for heartworm and will be treated for this as well.
Given all she has been through the MSPCA is intent on finding her a new family (or individual) that will make her future health and wellness a top priority. Bailey is spayed and the MSPCA staff will ensure her new owner(s) know everything they need to know to successfully treat her health issues.
