UNDATED (WHDH) -- Some flurries are expected in parts of the Bay State mid-Tuesday morning.

There may even be a period of light snow that drops a coating to an inch south of the Mass. Pike, away from the coast. The coast will see some drops mixed in. Temperatures will be in mid 30s to 40.

Meteorologist Chris Lambert says in his blog, "It won't be a whopper by any stretch, but perhaps enough of a flurry to get you in the Holiday mood. I expect some light snow and flurries to break out after 10:00 AM tomorrow, and be on and off into the afternoon. There may be a batch of steadier light snow in interior Plymouth County and the northern 2/3rds of Bristol County that drops a coating to an 1" of snow, but don't expect a big storm. Along the Plymouth County coast, Cape and Islands, the air is too mild to support all snow, so well get some rain drops to mix in as well."
