Suspected drunk driver charged in hit-and-run

FOXBORO, Mass. (WHDH) -- A suspected drunk driver was charged in a hit-and-run accident outside Gillette stadium.

After Monday’s Patriots game, an officer found an injured man, lying on Route 1. Officers stopped a car about two miles away with a smashed windshield.

Daniel Lishness, 27, pleaded not guilty to the charges in Wrentham court.

The man who was hit had a broken leg.
