Sammy and Raul didn’t know each another prior to their surrender to the MSPCA-Angell adoption center in Jamaica Plain several months ago.

Sammy, a 10-month-old black and white boy and Raul, a 5-month-old orange tabby, have become fast friends during their stay at the shelter.  Raul has so much energy and is so eager to play that he simply couldn’t be contained in a standard cage. Adoption Center staffers introduced him to Sammy in the “Colony Room” -- a much larger space where cats with similar personalities can be housed together while the MSPCA works to find them new homes -- and they immediately hit it off.

Sammy and Raul spend their days napping, playing and chasing each other. More than anything the MSPCA would like to find the perfect home for the pair, who have grown so close that they’re often found napping together.  The ideal home would be one that could take both of them. They both have a lot of energy and are very friendly. Staffers feel they’ll do fine in homes with kids and other pets (including cats and dogs!). Both Sammy and Raul are neutered and ready to go to their new home today!
