Rocky the Cat is hoping to find a new home in the new year. Rocky is currently living at the MSPCA-Nevins Farm adoption center in Methuen, Mass. He was found as a street cat with a serious illness (Toxoplasmosis) which is now completely resolved. The illness has left him permanent, albeit endearing, quirks: his head retains a constant tilt and he has one bent ear. Neither of these conditions slow him down or cause him any pain. Staffers report that Rocky loves to play and is very social, insisting on meowing “hellos” to anyone who comes near his cage door.
For Rocky, all day is play time. His idea of heaven is a fuzzy mouse or a fleecy wand and someone to play with. Afterwards, curling up on a warm lap for kitty naptime is also a major highlight. He would be great him a home with people who want to provide him with a stimulating environment, and lots of play. Staffers also feel he’d do well with older children. Rocky is in great health and neutered and ready to go home today!
