Brother of man questioned in Molly Bish case arrested
Nine years after the disappearance and murder of the Warren lifeguard, sources tell 7News Massachusetts authorities plan to question Randy Joseph Stanger, 54, who was arrested on unrelated drug charges.
"When my sister disappeared, my mother saw a white car, a man in a white car, smoking a cigarette in the parking lot when she dropped molly off," said Heather Bish, Molly's sister.
Stanger's neighbor said she remembered his white Ford, similar to the one Molly's mother saw the day her daughter vanished.
He will be brought back to Massachusetts for questioning.
His brother, Rodney Stanger was accused of killing his girlfriend in Florida and lived in Central Massachusetts at the time Bish disappeared from her lifeguard post in 2000.
In June of 2003, her remains were found just five miles from her family's home.
Heather Bish said their family welcomes the new developments, "We're quite hopeful."
Police urge anyone having any information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for Molly Bish's death to please call their tip line at 508-832-9124.
