BOSTON -- Celtics star Paul Pierce has climbed aboard the Twitter train and Sunday he provided a sweet "tweet" to lucky fans.

Pierce "tweeted" that the first five fans with his jersey on to meet at the players parking entrance on Sunday would get tickets to the game.

A few hours later the basketball star wrote that he was on his way to the arena and for fans to be there at 4:30 p.m. wearing his jersey. He informed fans that there were only five left and that the password was "Truth."

Michael Chase was one of the fans fortunate enough to snag some seats inside the Garden.

He along with a handful of other people learned about the Paul Pierce give away on Twitter.

"He was just kind of just smiling and having and good time and saying what's up to everyone and handing out the tickets. And then at the last minute, he was like oh and by the way you are sitting in my suite," Chase said.

In all, Pierce gave out about 10 tickets.

"It's nice when any time someone like that reaches out and gets to know the fans, so this is a nice way I guess for him to show his appreciation," Chase said.
