Alligator found in Haverhill drug raid

HAVERHILL -- An alligator is found at a drug bust in Haverhill.

Police raided an apartment on High Street Wednesday morning and found cocaine, prescription pills, and a two and a half foot long alligator.

Environmental police took possession of the alligator.

The two suspects were arrested on drug charges and illegal possession of the reptile.

Both men could spend up to 15 years in state prison.
