ABINGTON, Mass. -- An Abington woman gave new meaning to the phrase "Baby on Board."
Jennifer Damian started having contractions Thursday morning and could tell by their frequency that her baby was on the way.
She jumped in her car with her husband, but the couple realized they were not going to make it to the hospital.
Damian's husband stepped in as doctor to deliver their baby.
She said he did a great job.
"There was no complications. He came out quick and easy and I definitely feel fortunate. In the ambulance I thought at least the worst part's over. He's out and I'm done, I thought basically done," said Jennifer Damian, the new mother.
The baby boy is named Rocco. Both he and mom are doing well.
