Jimmy Fund Fantasy Day at Fenway is a home run

BOSTON -- Baseball fans received the chance of a lifetime, adults and children facing cancer got a show of support, and the oldest ballpark in the major leagues played host to it all. 

On Sunday at Fenway Park, the Jimmy Fund Fantasy Day and Ultimate Fan Experience kicked off with a mission to meet a fundraising goal of $450,000 for the Jimmy Fund. Nearly 5,000 fans turned out for the event, eager to participate in events ranging from hitting a ball over the Green Monster in left field to trying to field a bouncing ball off its legendary wall.
