Grant could encourage more 'hanging around' in Boston Common

BOSTON -- If one local group has their way, there could be a lot more hanging around going on in the Boston Common.

The Cambridge-based "Awesome Foundation" is giving out a $1,000 grant to a design professor who wants to put a giant hammock in the park!

So far, no formal petition has been filed with the city and the idea would still need approval from parks and recreation officials.
