NEWTON, Mass. -- Police are looking for a man wanted for attacking an 18-year-old woman at a bus stop last week.

The woman told police she was waiting for a bus at the intersection of Centre and Church Streets around 5:30 p.m. on October 12 when a man pulled up in a car and asked her to get in.

When she refused, the man got out of his vehicle and approached her.

According to police he, "grabbed her firmly on the shoulders and asked her if she wanted to "****."

Police said the woman broke free from him and ran up road with the suspect following her in his car. She was able to hail a taxi and the suspect drove off.

The victim told police that she saw the man two more times after the incident, while at the same bus stop. On both occasions he beeped and waved to her as he drove by, said police.

The suspect is described as being approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, shoulder length brown/blonde hair, light colored eyes, pale skin and a slender build.

The man's vehicle is described as an older model four door white sedan/wagon with an Obama bumper sticker on the right rear window.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Newton Police Department at 617-796-2104.
