TAUNTON, Mass. -- Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a 45-year-old man inside a gas station on Sunday night.
Police received a 911 call around 10 p.m. regarding a man shot inside Planet Petroleum on Winthrop Street.
The 911 called went inside the store and found the clerk, Hegazy Sayed, of Taunton, shot behind the counter.
Sayed was pronounced dead on the scene.
No arrests have been made.
Police are investigating.
