Police investigating Dorchester shooting

DORCHESTER, Mass. -- Police are continuing to investigate a shooting that took place in Dorchester Saturday afternoon.

Two men were sent to the hospital with bullet wounds a result of the shooting. Shell casings were seen scattered near the corner of Norton and Bowdoin Street.

The shooting occurred around 4 p.m., just as trick-or-treaters were beginning to emerge from their houses.

Police say the injuries appeared to be non life-threatening.
