Candlelight vigil held for long-vanished Woburn woman

WOBURN, Mass. -- A candlelight vigil held in Woburn today to remember Melanie Melanson, a woman who went missing nearly 20 years ago.

Melanson was just 14 when she disappeared, and today would have been her 35th birthday.

She was last seen with friends in October of 1989 when she vanished from a heavily-wooded area.

In May, her family and prosecutors announced a $5000 reward for information on her whereabouts.
