Father, son rescued from ice in New Hampshire

WINDHAM, N.H. -- A New Hampshire man and his son found themselves on thin ice on Saturday.

Rescue crews were called to Canobie Lake in Windham early Saturday morning, where they found the pair struggling about 600 feet off shore.

Police said the man and his 6-year-old son were on a six-wheel vehicle and had tried to go ice fishing.

Medics said the pair wasn’t injured and because the temperature was above freezing, the lucky duo didn't have to go to hospital.
