Prosecutors to play jail tapes at Odgren's trial

LINCOLN, Mass. -- Prosecutors in the case of high school stabbing want to use jailhouse recordings of a teenage suspect at his upcoming trial.

John Odgren is charged with fatally stabbing 15-year-old James Alenson at Lincoln-Sudbury High School in 2007.

His lawyers said he was legally insane at the time, but prosecutors claimed recorded conversations between Odgren and his parents did not show signs of mental illness.

Recordings will be played for a judge on Monday.
