More problems arise for Fung Wah Bus company

BOSTON -- Passengers aboard a Fung Wah bus from Boston to New York got quite a fright when their driver pulled over on the Mass. Pike after feeling vibrations.
The driver then noticed that of the lug nuts on one wheel had been sheared off.
Nobody was hurt, and all the passengers were picked up by another bus.
State police cited the bus company for failing to maintain a safe vehicle.
Wednesday’s incident is just the latest in a string of problems for the Fung Wah Bus company. Last September, 34 passengers were hurt when a bus en route to South Station flipped over on an exit ramp.
In recent years, two buses on the Boston/New York route have burst into flames.
