Teenager from Ashland charged with rape

ASHLAND, Mass. -- A 17-year-old Ashland High School student is charged with raping a 15-year-old girl and assaulting another teen on a school bus in a separate incident.

Christopher Monroy, of Raymond Marchetti Street, pleaded not guilty yesterday in Framingham District Court.

He was arrested Thursday night after a student came forward.

Police say Monroy is also accused in a second rape, where the alleged victim was a 14-year-old girl.
