Dog chokes to death after groomer leaves animal unattended

UNDATED -- A man in Rhode Island brought his dog to the groomers -- and learned that the dog suddenly died.

John McGinn says a worker left his dog, Sam, unattended while the dog was in a choke chain.

Vets said that killed the dog.

The McGinns' say the Artistic Dog and Cat Grooming Company was negligent.

The owner disagrees, but John says they need to own up to their mistakes.

The McGinns, who don't have any children, say they're are looking into a lawsuit but this is not about money.

They want to make sure this never happens again.
