Whitey sighted in Italy

BOSTON -- Media reports say that the FBI task force assigned to find James J. “Whitey” Bulger has received two photos of the fugitive gangster.

The photos show Bulger and his longtime girlfriend, Catherine Greig, in Italy as recently as last month.

The FBI ran the photos through facial recognition software. While the computer didn't make a definite match to Bulger or Greig, it did show a possible match.

Bulger and Greig have been on the run since 1995.
