Charity racing to start new fundraising campaign

BOSTON -- Since kids racing to recover from cancer can't get out to the track, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute brought NASCAR to them.

A simulator, which was equipped as the No. 47 Clorox car, gave some lucky patients a chance to fill their need for speed.

The kids got to go head-to-head with NASCAR superstars at the cancer center and enjoy some ice cream afterwards.

The event celebrated the beginning of a fundraising effort that hopes to raise $2.5 million for the Jimmy Fund.
