Doubts emerge about Whitey’s sighting in Italy

BOSTON – A man spotted in Sicily who closely resembles Whitey Bulger is not him, according to Bulger’s former girlfriend.

Earlier this month, the FBI released a video showing a white-haired man and female companion, believed to be Bulger and his companion, Catherine Greig.

According to the Boston Globe, Bulger's ex-girlfriend Teresa Stanley said she knows his facial features well enough to know that it's just a look-alike.

Stanley refused to go on the run with Bulger when he disappeared in 1995.
