School worker steals co-worker's credit card to buy beer

METHUEN, Mass. -- A school employee is accused of swiping a co-worker's credit card to buy beer.

Dolores Silva, 37, a program assistant at Timony Grammar School, faces three counts of using a stolen credit card, larceny and forgery.

The victim reported that her credit card was stolen and the bank told her that the last three purchases were made at a local liquor store.

Police said she used the card at Oscar's Liquors, with purchases totaling $40.

According to the police report, Silva said she found the credit card on the floor and used it for gas, coffee and booze.
