
School worker steals co-worker's credit card to buy beer
METHUEN, Mass. -- A school employee is accused of swiping a co-worker's credit card to buy beer.
Dolores Silva, 37, a program assistant at Timony Grammar School, faces three counts of using a stolen credit card, larceny and forgery.
The victim reported that her credit card was stolen and the bank told her that the last three purchases were made at a local liquor store.
Police said she used the card at Oscar's Liquors, with purchases totaling $40.
According to the police report, Silva said she found the credit card on the floor and used it for gas, coffee and booze.
The school has not commented on the incident.
