SWAMPSCOTT, Mass. -- One person died and a firefighter was injured after a two-alarm fire broke out at a home in Swampscott Thursday.

Philip Kenneally, 61, died in the fire that broke out around 12:45 p.m. at 77 Plymouth Avenue.

Officials said the house was filled with heavy smoke when they arrived.
