JUST ONE STATION: Man shot while traveling in minivan full of children

BOSTON -- A man inside of minivan full of children was shot in the leg.

The incident happed around 8:30 p.m. Thursday night along Colombia Road in Dorchester.

Police said that at least six rounds were fired across the street, and the van was caught in the crossfire.

None of the five kids in the van were hurt, but one bullet hit a man in the front passenger seat.

The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating.
