Two hurt in five-alarm fire in Cambridge
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Two people were injured and at least 20 were made homeless by five-alarm fire in Cambridge.
Department spokesman Frank Pasquarello says the fire was reported at about 3:30 on Tuesday morning in a three-story home on Prince Street, and spread to the home next door in the neighborhood of tightly packed houses.
He says two people were taken to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. Their names were not immediately released.
Chief Gerald Reardon says high winds made battling the blaze more difficult.
There was no immediate word on a cause.
