MERRIMACK, N.H. -- An auto parts store employee doing a good deed found himself in trouble after he opened the doors for a man after hours.

The incident happened Sunday afternoon at VIP Auto Store at 714 Milford Road in Merrimack.

Assistant Manager Henry Holland reopened after business hours to help out the broken down motorist, who may have needed a part for his car.

"He looked like a regular guy broken down," said Holland.

When Holland asked what kind of car he had, the suspect attacked him and pretended to have a gun.

The two exchanged about a dozen punches before the suspect gave up and ran out with nothing.

Holland suffered a couple of bruises, but is doing okay.

Police have released a sketch in hopes to make an arrest.
