Unconfirmed bobcat sighting in Belmont, third in past year

BELMONT, Mass. (WHDH) -- A person in Belmont reported seeing a bobcat Monday.

The Globe reported it was the third unconfirmed bobcat sighting in Belmont in the past year.

In early January, a rabid bobcat attacked a man in Brookfield.

He shot and killed the animal.

Animal control officers said healthy bobcats will not attack people.
