BOSTON (WHDH) -- Two people were injured in an accident at a 10-story Massachusetts General Hospital lab building in the Charlestown Navy Yard.
A lab technician was working with a tetrazine compound in a sixth-floor lab when it caused some glassware to shatter. The lab technician was transported by Boston EMS to receive treatment for his non-life threatening injury caused by the shattered glass.
There was no release of hazardous chemicals.
A firefighter was also injured while getting equipment off the fire engine.
