Rally held in City Hall Plaza for marriage equality
BOSTON (WHDH) -- Massachusetts is one of the states showing the most support of the marriage equality argument.
Back in 2004, the Bay State became the first in the country to recognize same-sex marriage, and Tuesday afternoon activists made their voices heard in downtown Boston.
Several hundred people showed up to City Hall Plaza in support of same-sex marriage and marriage equality.
Mayor Thomas Menino and Congressman Ed Markey made remarks at the rally.
