Random acts of kindness abound in Boston
BOSTON (WHDH) -- There has been an outpouring of support to help people around the world.
The random acts of kindness, helping people in Boston move forward.
From all across the U.S. and beyond- people are pouring out their hearts, and opening up their wallets- donating anything and everything to make Boston brighter.
“Craziness,” said Demetrios Pseudoikonomou the owner of Cappy’s Pizza, “People helping out everybody else, people in needs. It’s just been awesome.”
At Cappy's Pizza And Subs, they've gotten about 100 orders from all over mostly for pizza, to be donated to patients at Mass General Hospital.
"We get an order from online or people call, they just donate, and we make pizza and throw in a couple too,” said Pseudoikonomou
“I think that it’s amazing the way that the community has really reached out to people to try to help out,” said one woman.
Outside Tufts Medical Center, an anonymous gift of flowers for patients injured during the bombing.
"They're going to get about a 150 daisies to the different people in the wards that really need some smiles today,” said a man.
Over at star bucks at Government Center - a touching donation- a woman from Newtown, Connecticut donated $100 yesterday to customers in line... because someone else did that for her after the Sandy Hook shootings.
"It was touching for a lot of people...there were four women who cried because they felt great about it,” said a Starbucks customer.
Another donor bought a $100 gift card to pay for any police officers who'd like a cup of joe.
People 7News spoke with said the immense outpouring of good deeds and kindness is only helping to heal the city hit by such an evil act.
