Memorials to be held for slain MIT officer, bombing victim
BOSTON (WHDH) -- A public memorial for MIT police officer Sean Collier who was ambushed by the marathon bombing suspects will be held at noon on Wednesday.
It will be held on the Briggs Athletic field on the MIT campus.
Boston University will hold a memorial service for bombing victim Lingzi Lu Monday night as well.
The 23-year-old graduate student from China was killed in Monday’s attack. The service is at 7 p.m. Monday in the school's George Sherman Union.
