Bombing victim Jarrod Clowery heads home
BOSTON (WHDH) -- One of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing went home from Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital on Thursday.
Jarrod Clowery was standing outside the Forum restaurant with a group of friends when the second bomb went off. He was hit by dozens of pieces of shrapnel and was severely burned.
“You know, I’m blessed, and you guys can see, I’m walking out of here in a month. But I got friends and there’s other victims that are here and still hospitalized and they’re still fighting. And I’m going to be back every day until the last friend of mine is out of here,” said Clowery.
Clowery is from Stoneham. There is a fund put together to help Clowery and the other marathon victims from Stoneham called “Stoneham Strong”.
