Wyclef Jean performs to support bomb victims
BOSTON (WHDH) -- Some big names came out Thursday night to support victims of the Boston Marathon bombings and the One Fund.
Wyclef Jean performed at an impromptu rooftop concert in Boston’s South End to show his support for the bombing victims. Jean had a big concert scheduled for later Thursday night.
The rooftop concert was organized by ThinkSay Records president Brad Davidson, who just moved back home from New York. Davidson’s girlfriend’s friends were injured in the bombing.
“My dear friend Karen was affected by the marathon as well and she’s staying positive about everything. She’s working so hard and we really want to celebrate her, we want to honor her, we want to honor Krystle and we want to honor the city,” she said.
“Just came to Boston to let you all know we love you all, we think about y’all. Y’all a strong city, y’all swagged up. We basically need to bury the violence,” Jean said.
