Firefighters on duty during Boston Marathon honored
BOSTON (WHDH) -- Boston firefighters on duty at the Boston Marathon were honored at a special ceremony Monday on the Boston Common.
The fire commissioner presented certificates to the first responders who ran to help after the Boston Marathon bombings.
Pins were handed out to each of the 150 firefighters. The four stripes represent the four victims of the bombings.
Monday, August 26 marks 19 weeks since the Boston Marathon.
