Wild weather in New England for Labor day weekend
BOSTON (WHDH) -- Those labor-day barbecues likely moved indoors for Monday.
Mother Nature rained out the entire holiday weekend.
A lot of areas have seen flash flooding.
In Natick, drivers were forced to make a dangerous decision about whether to forge through standing water.
It was a similar scene in West Roxbury, where one woman actually got trapped in car, in the middle of Spring Street. Firefighters were able to save her.
In Quincy, a bolt of lightning hit the roof of the Bethany Congregational Church just before services were set to begin on Sunday.
Stone came crumbling down with some pieces piercing the roof and others falling onto cars.
More troublesome weather was forecasted for Monday as well.
